Wedding bands get worn harder than any other ring, so width and weight matter more here than on a piece you rotate. Narrower bands sit lower and catch less. Wider ones carry a longer engraving and read more clearly as a wedding ring.

What couples engrave
The inside of the base band is the traditional spot, and it stays private. The outer band is the visible one.

Sizing a ring you won't take off
Fingers change. They swell in heat, in pregnancy, with age. A spinner band sits closer than a single band because there are two of them, so getting this right at the start saves grief later. It does for the people who wear one. It's solid metal, it's engraved, and it does the job a band does. The spin is a second function, not a compromise on the first.
Do you make matching pairs?
Yes. Same metal and finish in two sizes and two widths is the usual request, and we can carry the same engraved phrase across both.
Will it survive daily wear better than a plain band?
A solid gold or sterling spinner holds up well. The one thing to avoid for a ring worn every day for decades is a plated stainless piece, where the finish wears at the points your fingers touch most. For a wedding band we'd steer you to solid metal.
Can it be resized later?
Usually, though a spinner is more involved than a plain band because both parts have to stay in tolerance. Talk to us rather than a mall counter.
Is the spinning loud?
Quieter than people expect, and it settles as the ring wears in. If silence matters, go heavier and narrower.
