A spinner ring has two parts. A fixed base band, and an outer band that turns freely around it. You push it with a thumb, it moves, and your hand has something to do. That's the whole mechanic.
It matters that the spin is smooth. Cheap ones seize up after a few months because the tolerance between the two bands was never right to begin with. One thing we'll say plainly. A ring is not treatment. It gives restless fingers somewhere to go, and a lot of people find that grounding. It does not treat anxiety, ADHD or anything else, and we won't pretend otherwise.
Choosing between silver, gold and stainless
Most people here start with 925 sterling silver. It's the classic spinner metal, it takes engraving cleanly, and it wears well. Solid 14k gold is the other end, and it's what you buy if the ring is meant to last decades. Our gold spinner rings sit there.
Some of the lower-priced pieces are stainless steel with plating, not solid precious metal. We say so on the product page. Plating wears, especially on a band you're deliberately spinning all day, so buy that tier knowing what it is.
What people put on them
Engraving is where these stop being generic. We engrave in English and in real Hebrew letterforms, proofed before anything is cut. The phrases that come up most are the ones people already carry: Ein Od Milvado, Gam Zu L'Tovah, This Too Shall Pass, Trust in Hashem. Our Hebrew spinner rings collect those.

Getting the size right
Spinner rings run differently from a plain band. There are two bands stacked, so the fit sits closer than you'd expect, and a ring that's slightly loose will spin beautifully and slide off in a coat pocket. Questions we get
Will it spin quietly enough to wear at work?
Mostly, yes. Metal on metal makes some sound. If you need it silent in a meeting, a slower, heavier band is the better pick, and there's a short piece on making a fidget ring quieter in our guides.
Is a spinner ring the same thing as a worry ring or an anxiety ring?
People use all three names for the same object. Worry ring is the older term. Anxiety ring is the newer one. We mostly say spinner ring, because that's what the piece does.
Can men wear these?

Does the engraving rub off from spinning?
Not on solid metal. The engraving is cut into the surface, not printed on top. On a plated stainless piece the plating itself can thin over years of wear, which is a different question from the engraving.
Can I have Hebrew and English on the same ring?
Yes, and people do it more than you'd think. One band carries the verse, the other carries a name or a date. Send us both and we'll proof the layout before cutting.
